Weighing in at 38-39kg and who will likely reach 40kg at his pet weight, this big boy is actually a big softy. Pepe might be on the larger side for a greyhound but he's also a shy boy. Currently he's a bit wary of new people but is brave enough to go out walking with our dog walkers. He's good on the lead and his trainer has said that he shows promise around other breeds of dog. 

We wouldn't home Pepe with children at this time as it may be a bit too overwhelming. However we won't rule it out completely. We will reassess once he has had a chance to interact with young visitors.

Pepe cannot live with cats.

He can live by himself or with a greyhound girl for company. 

Given a bit of time he's quietly affectionate. Pepe will actually approach the kennel staff for a fuss. We are confident that it won't take him long to get used to new people and settle into the routine of home life.
